Vocabulary bingo maker

Turn your word list into a class set. Read a word or a clue, and students mark the matching square.

1. Add your words

Original ECQ words and clues. Edit them to match your lesson.

One per line. Edit, add, or remove words here. Unchanged words keep their clues. Renamed words need a new clue.

CSV imports add words to this list. You can also paste two spreadsheet columns: word and clue. Take a word-list CSV to the Vocabulary flashcard maker to print study cards.

0 words

Clues are optional. You can call the words themselves.

2. Make your cards

A 4 × 4 grid has no single center. It needs 16 different words.

Add 16 words for this grid, or choose a smaller grid.

A new set changes the card layouts. Use the current set if you have already printed it.

Save or restore a game

Your work stays in this open page. Save a browser copy or download a backup to keep it.

Save again after you make changes. Browser saves can be deleted when you clear this site's data, close a private session, or the browser removes stored data. A downloaded backup is a separate copy.

A game backup keeps the exact cards and caller progress. A word-list CSV keeps words and clues only.

Use the words from your lesson

Review the meanings before you play. In word mode, read a word and let students find it. In clue mode, read its meaning, a translation, or an example sentence. Students find the matching word.

Keep clues clear enough to identify one answer. You can ask the class to explain a marked word after a round. A bingo win is a game result, not a test score.

Words, files, and games are processed in your browser. No account is needed. Your list is not sent to us.

Add a word

Your caller clues

Write a definition, translation, or sentence with a blank. Students see the clue and find its word on their card. Keep the answer out of the clue.

Leave a clue blank if you want to call words only. Clue mode needs a clue for each word used on the cards.
